THANK YOU, MIA! | For the past two years, Mia has been our social media intern while completing her marketing degree at UNI. During that time, she’s helped tell the story of The Hill through photos and videos, visiting businesses to capture the everyday moments and special events.

Mia graduated this past May and now it’s time for her next adventure! Mia is moving to Des Moines to begin her career in marketing alongside her boyfriend, Isaac.

While we’ll miss seeing her around the neighborhood, this isn’t goodbye. Mia will continue supporting The Hill from afar through her work on the annual Pear Fair with her college employer,

Mia is ~ handing over the handles ~ so we can continue her project of bringing awareness to our neighborhood. Thank you, Mia, for the creativity, time, and heart you’ve poured into our community. We can’t wait to see all that comes next. We’re wishing you the very best in Des Moines!
