I know many of you thought I was finished with my last post. But I was not. There were still details to do, and each layer has to be done at least three times for maximum opacity. Here’s the final design. It has been cleaned and clear coated and prepped for the next stage, all the little white outlines that you see…I plan on doing a clearcoat on them that has a one-to-one ratio of fluorescent pigment. After much research, I am advising a 365NM black light bulb be installed in the space by my client. As of tomorrow, I will start the process of adding the pigment into the clear coat on the white trim. Because I have to paint during the day, I have also ordered a flashlight with a 365NM bulb and a 395NM bulb. Mainly so I can see where I painted as I paint. 😂😂😂😂😂 the 395NM bulb will actually charge the fluorescent so that it glows for a little bit after the light is turned off. The 365NM will actually show none of the surrounding things to it and only the areas where the fluorescent or the white trim is.
57 years old and I’m still learning stuff. As it should be. Can’t get better than this! 🙌
I’m just thinking 103 degrees forecast might be a little excessive for this. 😅
