Free Concert Friday SEPT 11th!

Join us for the last installment of 2026's Summer Concert Series with performances by

Black Cat Parade: four piece Alternative Rock Band from Cedar City, Utah. They draw from rock, folk, and shoegaze to create their own unique sound.

Lyndy Butler & The Moonflowers: Make harmony-rich Folk Music that is rooted in honesty, longing, humor, heartbreak,
and the quiet magic of ordinary life.

Bring a chair, blanket, or just lounge in the grass by our outdoor stage and enjoy some great live music on us! *IN THE EVENT OF RAIN: This concert will be moved to our indoor stage.

This will be a great show; we hope you can join us!

Show starts at 6PM and, as always, is FREE!

Join for a night of hands on art! Learn how to add surface design to a paper lantern with collage, and spend the evening with a creative community looking to play with materials and connect irl!

Who:
This is a beginner friendly class for adults. You are welcome here if you already consider yourself an artist or if you are even the littlest bit curious about making things with your hands. Ages 14-17 are welcome if accompanied by an adult.

When:
Saturday, September 5th • 7-9 pm

Where:
Cedar City, Utah • The Johnson Center for Community Arts and Education

What’s Included:
-A 20 inch paper lantern and all the materials needed for the project (a pendant light kit and bulb are not included in the workshop fee)
-Instruction and 1-on-1 support
-​warm and friendly company

Thank you to those who weathered the storm to join us yesterday. Even though we had to move the concert inside our musicians really put on an amazing show!

A round of applause to Matthew DeJonghe Wright and Taylor Evans, Shanley Clark, Matthew Kleinman for bringing the energy on the rainy Friday.
