For my friends who are members of the Recording Academy, my version of “The Old Rugged Cross” is submitted for GRAMMY® consideration in the Best Contemporary Christian Music Performance/Song category.

Inspired by a sketch from my late dad, Al Berard, this recording features an original second verse inspired by his artwork, the beautiful piano artistry of Grammy-winning musician Eric Adcock, and the production and engineering of Grammy-winning Tony Daigle.

It’s hard to believe it has been two years since we released “Sing the Rosary” & my heart is so full of gratitude.

We’re getting close to 1 million streams, but honestly, the number that matters most to me isn’t the streams. It’s the Rosaries being prayed.

My sister Maegan, Tony Daigle, and I simply created this project and gave it to the Lord. We could never have imagined the places He would take it—into homes, hospital rooms, cars, morning walks, family prayer, and even alongside people at the end of their earthly journey.

What a gift it has been to see this music become part of so many people’s prayer lives.

Thank you to everyone who has prayed with “Sing the Rosary,” shared it with others, supported this ministry, or simply passed the link along. I’m so grateful.

This work belongs to Jesus. My prayer is that every Rosary prayed through “Sing the Rosary” helps someone draw closer to Him through His Mother, Mary.

🌹 Join us tomorrow night at St. Peter Catholic Church in Carencro, LA, for our very first Rosary & Adoration Night on the Feast of Our Lady of the Rosary!

𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 “𝐑𝐒𝐕𝐏” and I’ll message you the RSVP link! This beautiful evening is FREE, but we’d love to know you’re coming. ❤️

Beginning at 6 PM, we’ll spend time in Adoration of Jesus, pray and sing the Rosary together, and reflect on the mysteries using our beautiful Rosary Reflections Book.

Afterward, The Light Project will host a little gathering in the parish hall with light refreshments. We’ll also have some of our ministry items available, including the Rosary Reflections Book, for those who would like to purchase one.

🌹Our First Rosary Quote for October🌹

“If you wish to overcome temptation, grow in virtue, and obtain final perseverance, do not let a day pass without the Rosary in your hand.” — St. Alphonsus Liguori

The Rosary pictured here was made from flowers from my dad’s funeral—a beautiful reminder of love, loss, and the hope we have in Christ. Holding it and praying with it has made the Rosary feel even more personal, especially on the hardest days.

I can honestly say that praying the Rosary every day has changed my life in ways I could never have imagined. It has carried me through some of my most difficult moments, brought me so much peace, and drawn me closer to Jesus through Mary.

That’s why I’d love for you to join me this October. Let’s make the Rosary part of our daily rhythm and pray together throughout the month. 🌹

This beautiful plaque was given to me by one of my musical heroes, Tom Booth. A few years ago, I had the honor of recording “Peace Prayer” with Tom—a beautiful song inspired by the prayer of St. Francis: “Make me a channel of your peace.”

The song was written by John Foley, SJ, and it has always been such a meaningful prayer for me.

During this Jubilee Year of St. Francis, what a beautiful reminder to ask God to make us instruments of His peace.

Today is the Feast of the Holy Guardian Angels. 🤍

This sketch is extra special to me. My dad drew it just 17 days before his sudden passing in 2014. I treasure it as such a precious keepsake.

What a beautiful reminder today that God lovingly gives us heavenly companions to protect, guide, and lead us closer to Him.

The Guardian Angel prayer is one I learned as a child—and one my husband still says every night. 🤍
