The hall had a stage installed many years ago, complete with footlights and curtains, purpose-built to entertain audiences, from music to plays to speeches. Going unused for decades, the Nelson Odeon breathes new life into the hall from the stage and entertain audiences again as it was intended. Dear Friends,

This is Rachel Schoenfeld, Jeff Schoenfeld's daughter. It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that my father has passed away, peacefully and unexpectedly, this past weekend. He was such a beautiful soul that we were all fortunate to have had in our lives.

There will be a Celebration of Life on Saturday, February 28th at 2:30pm. Nelson United Methodist Church in Nelson, NY. (Calling hours will be 12 -2pm)

We do ask that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Samaritan Center or the Stone Quarry Art Park. These two causes were very important to him. https://samcenter.org , https://sqhap.org
