“An intriguing drama …. The show has almost equal amounts of humor, drama, and terror … Nicholas Snipes as the young Pup offers up a delightful naivete and innocence about his character, growing into an emotionally tortured soul, transforming himself from child to monster and back again. Robert Zelaya captures the audience from the onset with his delivery, honesty, and obvious care and devotion to not only Pup but his late husband as well. Together the two actors captivate the audience.” Bill Kellert, TheSpot518

First review for MONSTERS is out, and Steve Barnes at the Times Union is a fan!

“Bold and engrossing! … As realized by director Tony Speciale, an excellent design team, and a pair of brave, committed actors, ‘Monsters of the American Cinema’ is an absorbing, entertaining, often compelling experience … [Pup is] an irresistible role for a young actor, and Snipes, who graduated with an acting degree from New York University only last year, wholly inhabits the character. Zelaya’s Remy is an able foil … A captivating performance.” Steve Barnes, Times Union
