The Community Theatre The Community Theater is a historic theater in Catskill, NY showing a mix of first-run and classic cinema. Come see a movie!

Built in 1920, The Community Theatre has two movie screens and a vaudeville stage. We show the latest releases, repertory classics, and independent films, and are available for live performances. Ticket prices are as follows:
Adults - $11
Seniors (65+) - $8
Students, Teachers and Military - $8
Children - $8
Tuesdays - All tickets $5.00

Thanks to a generous grant from the Catskill Community Center, the PRE-K MATINEE is now expanding to twice a month! In May we'll have a special MOTHER'S DAY matinee of PONYO on 5/10 (details forthcoming), followed by A BUG'S LIFE on Sunday, May 24.

The Pre-K Matinee is a screening series for children aged 2-5 and their families that’s our answer to story time! We play short and long-form content specifically chosen to please young viewers and parents, and we keep the lights on low and the sound a little lower than usual to make the theater a less overwhelming experience for all. Plus we’ll have special concessions for children to enjoy. All tickets are just $5, and free under 2.
