Thus far we've been bringing in outside productions we feel our audiences should have a chance to see - ECHOES OF IRELAND, QUIET ELECTRICITY, THE R**E OF LUCRECE - but this will be our first self-produced presentation at Bridge Street Theatre. It's an exquisite and touching piece told through a series of letters between three small-town Southern women, friends from their childhood in the Great Depression till old age in the early years of the 21st Century. Think it'll really resonate with our audiences here. 3 performances only, March 13-15.
Actual closing on the Bridge Street Theatre building is now scheduled for 11:30am November 1st. Looks like we're actually making that leap!
From the Archives: SUBJECT TO FITS, a musical response to Dostoyevsky's "The Idiot" by Robert Montgomery at EXIT Theatre in San Francisco. With (from left) Larry Spenler, Beth Donohue Templeton, and Dan Carbone. Utterly brilliant show which I hope we'll get a chance to revive someday at Bridge Street.
