Overdue for an update.
Below A Dark Wood screened to a live audience on its SIXTH continent last month, at SydFest in Sydney, Australia, where it also won the award for Best Mystery!
Won Best Editing and Best Sound Design at the Golden Nugget International Film Festival and was also nominated for Best Cinematography!
Will be making a HOLLYWOOD debut at the Hollywood Short Film Festival this Feb! (unfortunately via virtual screening since Omicron shut down the live event in Santa Monica)
Won Best Horror/Thriller at The Gladiator Film Festival of Turkey, Best Experimental at the Tv1 Network Sydney Multicultural Film Awards of Australia, and Best USA Short Horror at the Lunalumenfilmfest of Ohio, USA!
Was a Semi-Finalist for Best USA Film at the ShortsTV Worldwide Film Awards, and made a National USA broadcast debut on DIRECTV as part of a prize distribution deal.
Was an awards Semi-Finalist at the Ramaldar Productions Make Art Not Fear film festival of Portugal, and a Finalist for Best Experimental Film at the International Short Film Awards of New York.
Screened live at a drive-in theater for the Create Council on the Arts Flash Film Fest which was the Upstate New York debut, and screened live in Cape Town at the The South African Independent Film Festival for the South African Premiere!
Named an Official Selection at the TrueView film festival, the Filmmakers United International film festival of England, a Semi-finalist at the Oudeis International Film Festival of Rome, an Official Selection at the Giallo International Film Festival of France, an Official Selection at the Lake View International Film Festival of India, and Honorable Mention at the Sanctuary Film Festival of Australia, an Official Selection at the ARA KOREA International Film Festival of Seoul, an Official Selection at the Golden Bridge Istanbul Film Festival, an Official Selection at the Cinemagia Movie Awards of Italy, an Honorable Mention at the Monza Film Fest of Italy, an Official Selection at the Anatolia International Film Festival, and Official Selection at the Film Four Corners Film Festival of New Mexico.
