Adult Art Class!

Are you retired and looking for something to do, or work from home (or not) and need a day off?

I have 5 spaces available next Tuesday 4/28 at Make Your Mark Art Studio to design a cute canvas tote! Perfect for toting books, or putting all of your finds from Aldi! We will stencil, paint, and sew. Examples shown are just ideas, not my personal work. I will demonstrate and guide you through the project, you are only limited by your imagination!

Class begins at 10:00 AM and ends at no particular time. $25 per person, not due until the day of class. Please comment below to sign up.

Come and Make Your Mark inside the new art studio!

Who doesn’t love gold and glitter glue?! Come and design a butterfly on canvas, then paint it with acrylics. Add some sparkle for the finishing touch! Choose from 2 classes:

#1 - Thursday 4/16 from 4:30-6:30 PM
#2 - Saturday 4/18 from 8:30-10:30 AM

Appropriate for ages 7-12. Class is $20 and includes a snack. Please bring a water bottle, shoes for exploring, and clothes that can get messy!

SUMMER 2026 CAMP SCHEDULE!

NEW LOOK, NEW STUDIO!!!
I’m so excited to share that Make Your Mark will now have classes year-round! I will also be offering adult classes again, and after-school and evening classes for kids and teens!

Below are the summer camp dates for the entire summer. Camps are appropriate for students entering 2nd grade and up, unless otherwise noted. Please comment with your child’s name and camp number. If I like your comment, your registration is confirmed. Camps begin a little earlier this year and last 3 hrs (8:00 AM - 11:00 AM). Payment is not due until the first day of camp. Cash, check, and Venmo are accepted. Please PM me for the address. Each camp we will explore drawing, painting, clay, and crafts! Every camp is different! Please send your child with a water bottle and snack. Appropriate clothing for getting messy and exploring nature is recommended. I guarantee your child will have the very best time! 🎨❤️😊

Spring Paint Kits!

Need a quick and creative gift for Easter or a fun activity to do at a gathering? Grab one of these kits before they’re gone! Ready for local pick up on Wednesday 4/1, and that’s no April Fool’s joke! Kits are $20 and all the artist needs to provide is a cup of water. Everything you need for a creative painting experience is included!

Kit includes:
1 pre-drawn egg on canvas, 6 paint colors in small resealable containers (even more when you mix colors *hint* use the lids for that!), a paper towel, and 2 different sized brushes! All of the materials are inside a large resealable container that can be reused to store art supplies, it makes a great portable art kit. Kits travel well (think family gatherings!) and are wrapped up with a spring colored ribbon…ready to give!

Please comment below the number of kits you’d like to order. Don’t need paint and brushes? No problem! Order “just the canvas” for $15! Order 2 kits or canvases and save $5, order 3 or more and save $10. There will be two pick up sites, one at the Elysburg Sheetz on Wednesday, 4/1 from 7:00-8:00 PM, and the other site is in rural Catawissa on Thursday, 4/2. Please private message me to get directions to my studio if 4/1 does not work for you.

Great for kids or adults! Beginners or experienced painters! Keep it simple (see last photo)or use the tiny brush to add your own creative details!!! Remind the kids to let their first layer of paint dry, first! (again, see last photo) It’s always great to look back at your paintings years from now and admire how they capture each artists’ stage of artistic development.

Want more DIY ideas?……when the painting is dry you can put a name, date, or greeting on it. Use the ribbon that was used to wrap the kit and some hot glue on the back of the canvas to make it hangable, or make a cute bow to glue on the canvas. Ohhhhh how about glitter glue to embellish your egg! Finally, it’s also a great solitary project if you need to destress or zone out for awhile. Painting really can be a form of meditation or a great exercise in letting go of perfectionism!

Please post a photo in the comments when your masterpiece is finished, or send it to me in a private message if you’d rather! Whatever you choose to do, have fun being creative and making memories with your friends and family!

Make Your Mark’s next paint kit is the lighted bottle. $25 includes all materials to create this project! Every order after the 1st is only $20. Kit includes pre-drawn wine bottle, paints, brush, cork with string of lights. Please order by Sunday 9/15. Most orders will be ready on Monday 9/16.

Calling all boys who love to draw! Here is your chance to improve your skills at Make Your Mark on 9/20 from 8:30-11:00. The morning will be full of adventure so wear walking shoes. All supplies will be provided. If you are new to this class you will receive a sketchbook. If this is your second class, please bring your sketchbook along. Class is $20 and is open to ages 8-16. Students will be divided into two groups and will be working on two different drawings. Comment below to sign up.
