A couple of our favorite little visitors made their way through the zinnia garden this summer, and naturally, we had to stop and take some pictures. These sweet boys are our cousins, and watching them run around the farm, explore the flowers, and just enjoy being outside is one of those simple things that makes us love this place even more.

And because the farm wouldn’t be the farm without them, we had to include a picture of our four-legged residents too—our donkeys, goats, and our two farm dogs, Louie and Girlie. They each have their own personalities and they’re a pretty big part of what makes this place feel like home.

As we were looking through our summer pictures, we realized how much we wanted to share a little bit of everyday life here at Spring Tavern Farm—not just the weddings and beautifully decorated barn, but the farm itself.

The Willow Tree Cottage, the barn, the pond, the gardens, the animals, the flowers, and all the little moments in between.

There’s something pretty special about having a place where family can visit, kids can explore, flowers can grow, and animals wander around just being themselves. It’s not always picture-perfect—and that’s exactly what we love about it.

We’re so proud of this little piece of Catawba and love getting to share it with all of you.
