That’s why my lawn chair was laying sideways?

EARTHQUAKE detected in Ohio! While it was *not* felt or even remotely close Ohio, the Ohio Seismic Network including a Helicorder right here in Lucas County absolutely detected the earthquake! Today's powerful earthquake in the Gulf to the west of Cuba was felt across much of Florida shortly after 2 pm.

The seismic wave that rippled through Ohio was detected about 4-5 minutes after the initial earthquake. This suggest the faster moving P-Waves recorded and pictured below were moving about 4 miles per second when they rippled through Ohio. The slower S-Waves arrived and were detected several minutes after that, closer to 2:10 pm. So cool!
