I’ve had a great experience planning the MCT productions the last three years, however, I’ve decided I won’t be organizing it this year. I would LOVE to pass the baton! If anyone or any group would like to take the reigns in planning a show, I would be happy to share all the “wisdom” I gained the last few years. Please reach out if you think you’d like to bring back the show in 2025! I’d be happy to fill you in on what it takes to host.

Auditions for the 2024 Summer Season are here!
Auditions are open to actors ages 15 and up and will be held in person
on April 1st and 2nd at 6:30 p.m. and April 6th at 1 p.m. at
The Sixth Street Melodrama and Theater
212 Sixth Street
Wallace, Idaho

Come prepared to read from the script and sing.

This Summer's Melodrama Production:

Huckleberry Havoc, or…The Villain is in a Jam

July 18-August 18, with shows performed
Thursday through Saturday at 7 p.m., Sundays at 2 p.m.

Actors Needed:
Two Males—The Hero and the Villain
Two Females—The Heroine and the Saloon Girl

Being able to sing is encouraged, but not required.

A small stipend is paid to summer melodrama actors.
Rehearsals will begin in early May.

This production is directed by Carl Rowe.

Thank you to Ashley and the ladies with the Women’s Ministry for having lunches available all week, helping with managing the building, and, of course, the amazing spread of treats during the shows! You made this whole week so enjoyable!

Thank you to Kellogg Pet Medical Center and Idaho Haven for hosting the directors this week. They’re very grateful for the comfortable accommodations!
