Dear Supporters of Castleton Parks and Recreation,
During the Select Board meeting on Thursday, May 28, 2026, I will be presenting a proposal for a new Parks and Recreation Management Platform that would replace HeyGov for the Parks and Recreation Department, Crystal Beach, and potentially other town departments.
The presentation will focus on the platform’s capabilities in activity registration, facility management, point-of-sale services, memberships, refunds and credits, and reporting. If approved, staff training will begin during Summer 2026, and community members will be encouraged to create accounts ahead of the transition. Registration for programs and facility rentals would begin in the fall.
I encourage you to attend the Select Board meeting on Thursday, May 28, at 7:00 PM to learn more about the platform and have your questions answered. While we do not yet know when this item will appear on the agenda, your participation and feedback are appreciated.
