Why horses?
People sometimes ask why I teach with horses.
Because horses don't care about your résumé.
They don't care how much money your business makes.
They don't care about your title.
And they definitely don't care how convincing your explanation is. 😂
They respond to what's happening.
Pressure.
Release.
Boundaries.
Communication.
Congruence.
Trust.
They develop patterns.
They have blind spots.
They seek connection with the herd.
They can be incredibly powerful and incredibly sensitive at the same time.
And when something changes in the interaction...
their behavior gives us information.
The horse becomes a mirror.
And sometimes that mirror shows us something about ourselves that another business strategy never could.
That's why I don't really think I'm teaching people about horses.
The horse is helping me teach people about themselves.
