🎭 WELCOME TO CASPER COLLEGE, BENJAMIN MASON! 🎭

We’re excited to welcome Benjamin Mason to the Casper College Theatre & Dance Department as our new Theatre Instructor – Scenic Design! 🎨🔨

Benjamin specializes in scenic and lighting design and technical direction, bringing an incredible wealth of professional experience to our program. He has designed 130+ productions and assisted in or led the construction of 150+ shows throughout his career.

He holds an MFA in Theatrical Scenic Design from the University of Alabama–Tuscaloosa and has worked with organizations including the Alabama Shakespeare Festival, McLennan Community College, Lone Star College–CyFair, Stageworks Theatre, Hendrix College, and more.

We’re thrilled to have his expertise, creativity, and passion for technical theatre joining our growing program. Welcome to Casper College, Benjamin! 💙🎭 He wishes to thank his family for their love and support: Elaine, Joseph, and William.

Welcome Rebecca Hebert
to our Casper College Dance program as an adjunct instructor this fall!

Rebecca Hebert is a dance educator, choreographer, and arts administrator with nearly 30 years of experience in dance education. She holds a BA in Dance from Hampshire College and an MA in Arts Leadership and Cultural Management from Colorado State University.

She has taught ballet and other dance forms to students of all ages, with extensive experience in curriculum development, program direction, and community outreach. In Casper, she has choreographed for the Kelly Walsh High School musicals since 2016 and directed the all-local production of The Nutcracker since 2021, while teaching and mentoring dancers throughout the community.

Her professional background also includes performing as a soloist with Ballet Ariel in Denver, working in dance production and technical theatre, and serving as Executive Director of the Wyoming Symphony Orchestra.

Rebecca believes the arts are an essential part of a thriving community—creating connection, enriching lives, and giving people opportunities to experience and participate in something larger than themselves. She looks forward to bringing that belief to her work with students at Casper College.

Welcome A.J. Campbell as an adjunct Dance instructor to Casper College!

Amandie J. (AJ) Campbell AJ Campbell was born and raised in Casper, Wyoming. She began movement classes at Rising Star Tumbling and Dance Studio at only six-months-old and continued through their dance program until she graduated from Natrona County High School in 2003. She attended Casper College to further her dance education and received an Associate in Dance Performance in 2005. It was at this time that she discovered her love for Musical Theatre and appeared in “Seussical” as Amazing Maizie, “Chicago” as Liz, every dance concert the college produced during her time there, and in several plays. AJ transferred to Texas Tech University in the fall of 2005 where she appeared in several musicals such as “Company” as Kathy, “Oklahoma” as Ado Annie and “A Chorus Line” as Cassie. She also performed in four to five Dance Concerts each year in and around Texas Tech University and Lubbock, Texas. She choreographed throughout undergraduate college and was honored to perform and have her pieces represented at the American College Dance Festival, South Central Region multiple times. She graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor in Dance, a minor in Music for Voice, and a minor in Communication Studies. After returning to Casper in 2008 to teach and choreograph she decided to pursue her Masters degree and received her Masters in Dance Education from the University of Northern Colorado, Greeley in 2016. Moreover AJ has taught in many different places in Wyoming as well as classes at the Northwest festival of the American College Dance Association for 2 years. Additionally, she has been working in the Natrona County High School theatre program as the Musical choreographer since 2009 for some notable works such as, South Pacific (2009), Cinderella (2014), The Addams Family (2016), Oklahoma (2019), Chicago the Musical (2022) Mamma Mia (2025), and most recently Alice By Heart (2026). AJ has been choreographing, teaching and coaching dance for students in the Casper Area since 2000. Furthermore, her choreographic contributions were highlighted in the latest Casper College Dance Department showcase, titled “The Weave.” She has a passion for dance pedagogy, arts advocacy, performance, choreography, and musical theatre. Her skills in Dance and the performing arts include pedagogy, program design, collaboration with different types of organizations, managing of large and small groups, intercultural and interpersonal communication skills, finances, committee involvement, stage management, and strategic planning of dance development among students technical training and performance training. Her ability to thrive on challenges continues to support the performing arts and the education of students therein. AJ’s classroom and rehearsals are geared toward development of strong technique in dance, excellent performance skills and fostering her students into honest and positive individuals. She is married to her loving and supportive husband Scott Campbell and they have two beautiful children, Gibson and Elizabeth.
