writing her letters when she was in an assisted living home and drawing, with colored pencils, pictures of colorful birds on the envelope. I studied the European and American impressionists extensively as I loved the style of painting of these early artists. Artists such as Manet, Monet, Cassatt, Renoir, Benson, Robinson, and others' paintings filled my brain with pictures of a loose style that I have been working on during my journey of learning. As a result, I have developed a style that is a combination of impressionism and realism with just enough detail to show a finished product of visible brush strokes and a loose style that has captured the attention of my many patrons. My artwork has sold well to collectors in multiple states in the US and a few European countries. I am a lover of nature and follow a path of painting compositions of all things in nature with landscapes and wildlife being my primary focus. I have also developed a love of painting still life compositions as a result of taking a course online with a fine artist in Colorado. All of my interests are shown herein in the several galleries I have created. I am originally from New England, a graduate of the University of New Hampshire, and lived in Vermont for twenty years, and then twenty-three years on Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. I now live in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. I welcome comments from viewers and love to take on commission work.
