I wish I had a friend,

I wish I had a friend until the very end,
a friend to never leave me,
a friend to stand up for me,
a friend to vouch for me,

A true friend that would not hide a single lie,
A friend that would risk it all for truth and not just what I wanted to hear,
But where would one even find such a friend,
