🎠 The Carousel Is Back! 🎠

We are thrilled to announce the reopening of our historic carousel!

Built in 1919 by the Herschell-Spillman Company in North Tonawanda, New York, this treasured carousel features hand-carved original wooden horses and has been creating memories at the North Pole since the early 1960s.

After an extensive restoration and countless hours of dedicated work, this beloved attraction is once again ready to delight children and families. With fewer than 200 historic wooden carousels still in existence today, we are honored to preserve this special piece of amusement history for future generations.

Thank you to everyone who supported and encouraged us throughout this restoration journey. We can’t wait to see families making new memories and continuing cherished traditions on this beautiful carousel for years to come.

Some things never lose their magic. ❤️

Thanks to Ben Weaver who shared these photos with us—one from 37 years ago when he visited our park as a child, and one from this year, returning with his own child.

Moments like these remind us why we do what we do.

For 70 years, families have made memories at the North Pole, and we never take for granted the privilege of being part of your traditions. Seeing children grow up, return as parents, and share the same joy with the next generation is truly one of the greatest gifts.

Thank you for allowing us to be a small part of your family’s story. We love hearing your memories, seeing your photos, and celebrating the traditions that continue year after year. ❤️🎄

🏁 The Pikes Peak International Hill Climb is this Sunday June 21st!

We want to let our guests know that the race takes place above us and our park operations will not be affected by race day activities. We will be open and operating as usual!

If you’re planning a visit this weekend, please keep in mind that many visitors to Pikes Peak will choose to travel on Saturday instead of Sunday, which may result in heavier-than-normal traffic on the Pikes Peak Highway and surrounding areas.

🎅 Our recommendation:
• Plan ahead
• Arrive early in the day if possible
• Allow a little extra travel time

We look forward to welcoming you for a fun day at the North Pole!

June 16th is officially proclaimed North Pole Day in El Paso County, and we couldn’t be more honored to celebrate this incredible milestone.

As we mark our 70th birthday season, we want to thank the generations of families who have made memories, shared traditions, and supported us throughout the years. From grandparents who visited as children to families creating new memories, your stories are what make the North Pole so special.

The magic keeps growing at the North Pole! 🎄✨

We’re continuing our early season opening and adding more rides each week as we gear up for a full summer of fun at the base of Pikes Peak! This weekend, unlimited ride wristbands are just $30 per person (normally $38) while we are working to open more of our rides for you!

Be sure to check out two of this season’s biggest glow-ups — our beautifully rebuilt Peppermint Slide and refreshed Scrambler!

Opening Day is May 22nd! 🎢🎄

Join us as The North Pole celebrates 70 seasons of family fun in at the foot of Pikes Peak!
We will have 20+ rides open and ready for guests this weekend — with more opening soon.
Due to a few rides being unavailable we will have a discounted unlimited ride wristband at just $25 per person for opening weekend. It is still free to come up to the park and stroll through our village, say hi to Santa and take in a magic show!

The North Pole is now closed for the 2025 season. We are beyond grateful for every guest who stepped through our gates and helped create such a truly magical year.
