Pieces of the Colorado Rockies, for your whimsical and crafty needs 💫🌿

Years ago I lived in Denver Metro and had pretty much zero access to natural crafty supplies. When I couldn't even find a tree branch for a project I was forced to look online and just found limited or expensive options.

I've been living in the rural mountains for 8 years now and sometimes I take access to natural resources for granted. I decided to make a special place on our website for "Whimsical Odds n Ends" that I can share from my collections.

The first addition is Rocky Mountain Quartz, found by me on our land. I have more whimsical options coming- like feathers, fun sticks, dried or pressed plants and many other ideas. Stay tuned!

A few years ago, I was tired of making art that stressed me out. My custom painting had stressful deadlines and my realism painting was so tedious that I felt like I was never creating enough. Then I tried resin, which was fun but ultimately the most stressful medium I ever worked with, even after 2 years. Did I just give up one stressful profession for another, I wondered?

I decided to start building my art business by choosing things that brought me joy and didn't ruin my nervous system. Something that let me leave the studio & gave me an excuse to play in nature. I chose wildflowers🌻
