The Groovy Train, 2025. Graphite pencil on 117 # mixed media Strathmore paper. 5.5” x 8.5”. Been lostening to lots of early 70s music this week. Rediscovering Todd Rundgren. This started as a loose sketch and spent time with shading and geometry to make this look funky. Thoughts?

So yesterday, I went to a show at Birdland Gallery in Raleigh. The show was called Village Impulse and it featured 5 artists in collaboration, one of which was Peter Draws! I not only got to meet and talk to him, but also got to draw and swap art with him!!!! What an awesome experience! Thanks Peter!
