⭐️What presence & priorities means to you: I love how our tap dance, choreographed by AC, has so many encouraging words in the song “hold on”. It makes me think of both presence and priorities because it reminds me to be present with God even when times are tough, and to rely on his goodness as the first priority even when something in this world is letting me down.

⭐️What presence & priorities means to you:
I spent a lot of last year trying to heal and move past a really hard season and so deeply wanting to fast forward to the next chapter of my life. This year’s theme of presence has been a sweet reminder to slow down and enjoy exactly where I am at and to truly LIVE life to the fullest. I am reminded of the verse Psalm 16:11 “You make known to me the path of life; in your presence there is fullness of joy; at your right hand are pleasures forevermore.” I’m thankful for the ways I have prioritized what truly matters to me and have found true joy in the Lord, no matter my circumstances.

Presence and priorities is dwelling in the things that mean the most to us. I think Psalm 27:4 touches on this in my favorite way: “one thing I ask of the Lord, that I may dwell in His house all the days of my life, to gaze on His beauty and to seek Him there”.

⭐️What presence & priorities means to you: Slowing down and being present is so tough as a teacher. I feel like I am constantly pulled in so many directions and my thoughts rarely have time to still. I need a reminder every single day to slow down and appreciate each interaction instead of already moving on to the next thing. I love that our theme and songs remind me of this!

⭐️What presence & priorities means to you: Presence is the act of simply being. It’s the conscious choice to connect meaningfully with those around us and appreciate our surroundings. Being present is prioritizing loved ones and showing them their value wtih our focused attention. It’s the ability to filter distractions and fully be in the moment.
