www.copperdimestudio.com All of our work is handcrafted at our shop in Cary, North Carolina from solid copper sheets, wire and tubing.

Some pieces utilize natural materials such as driftwood to help support and display the artwork. Each piece is cut and hand hammered to the required shape. After forming and shaping, some pieces may have a brazed feature. ​Many pieces have either a patina finish or a torch applied color. Each piece will have a lacquer finish except where pieces are described with no protective finish. These are ge

nerally for outdoor placement and they will age with a natural patina. While in college for mechanical engineering, Jimmy enrolled in a course for metal working. From that point, he knew metal forming would be in his future. Jimmy finds great interest in taking a raw material and transforming it into a piece of art work. Much of his inspiration comes from photos he takes of nature and landscapes. He enjoys coastal photography in North Carolina. The images are of current and past work. Made a baker's dozen but one was already taken. Most of these 10" copper sand dollars will be at Barn and Beach Designs in Southport. Each can be wall hung and put on display stand.
