Well… I made a Mothman for the market, but we have a problem.

He was supposed to be up for adoption, but somewhere between making him and finishing him, he decided he lives here now with his Wendigo and Wizard Frog friends. 🤣

I guess sometimes you make a cryptid so cute that you just can’t let him go! ❤️ No regrets… except maybe that I now have one less plushie for the market. 😅

Does anyone else have a habit of accidentally adopting the things they make? 👀

We call this little guy Halvsies. He’s a two-for-one cuteness overload and so much fun to make, with endless color combinations and embroidery options to choose from!

And the best part? With two heads and one body, these two are stuck together forever...literally! 😂 They may be two halves, but they make one adorable little guy (or girl)!

Currently working on Wendigos for my next market!

Each one has 9 individual pieces that are either sewn on or crocheted in, not counting the head, body, or fur collar. They are definitely a labor of love, but seeing them come together makes every stitch worth it.

Wendigos are one of my absolute favorite cryptids, so I may be a little biased… I love these plushies so much that I kept the very first one I made in my office. He lives with me now. 🤣

I can’t wait to see these little guys all finished and ready for their new homes!

Algonquin Harvest Market was great yesterday. It was the most beautiful weather we've had for a market of 2026 so far.

Now it's onto prep for Foxtober in McHenry and Witches Day Out in Woodstock. They are both happening the weekend of 10/17 and it will be our first time doing 2 different markets in one weekend, which I'm both nervous and excited for.

We've also officially started making stock for Spooky Season, which is my personal favorite! 🍂🎃👻🧙⚰️🕷️🦇🧟

We are so excited to have been chosen as a vendor again for next week's Algonquin Harvest Festival! We've been crocheting like crazy to prepare for this market and are hoping it'll be a perfect day. The festival is on 10/03 between the hours of 10am-4pm. Stop by and see us if you're looking for something to do next Saturday or a fun place to bring the kiddos.

Well... the adventure at Anime Midwest has come to an end. 💚

Our little crew of plushies found so many wonderful new homes, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who stopped by to say hello, adopt a new friend, or just share a smile. You made this weekend one we will treasure for a long time.

While we're a little sad to pack up the booth, we're already looking forward to the rest of our summer market adventures! There are still plenty of cozy companions waiting to meet their perfect humans.
