ET KidZone parents and guardians: Please take a few minutes to read emails from our Program Manager, Courtney Fejedelem, and review the Parent Handbook. These communications contain important information that helps us safely account for every child.

A few important reminders:

📅 Schedule changes for the upcoming month must be emailed to the Program Manager by the 25th.

📞 If your child will not attend on a scheduled day, please notify both the ET KidZone site and your child’s school office or teacher. Absences should be reported directly to the ET site by call, voicemail or text.

➕ Parents are able to add days, but there is a 7-business day waiting period. Late requests are not guaranteed.

📱 Effective immediately, School District 26-issued iPads may no longer be used during ET KidZone. Personal devices must remain stored in backpacks and out of sight.

These guidelines help us maintain accurate attendance and create an engaging, age-appropriate environment for all children. Thank you for your cooperation!

If your child solves every math problem using all 10 fingers and occasionally a few toes, Mathnasium Numerical Fluency can help.

Designed for ages 6-11, this program builds addition, subtraction, multiplication and division skills through understanding instead of memorization. Children gain stronger number sense, greater confidence and a solid foundation for future math success.

Classes run September 14-October 22 at Mathnasium of Cary, IL. Families can choose Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday classes at 4:30, 5:30 or 6:30 p.m.

Looking for a way to get your young teen off the couch, away from the screen and onto the court? 🏐

Our Sand Volleyball program gives players ages 10-13 a fun, active introduction to beach volleyball. Participants will practice serving, passing, setting and attacking before putting their skills to work in daily scrimmages. No prior experience is needed!

In Sweet Treats: Sublime Slime Club, kids ages 5-11 will create a different dessert-inspired slime each week, including Cookie Dough, Icee, Funfetti and Cotton Candy Slime. They’ll add scents, sprinkles, glitter and charms before bringing their creations home!

Kids ages 6-12 will complete multiple drawings while learning cartooning techniques, exaggeration and visual storytelling.

If your brain currently has 37 tabs open, consider this your invitation to close a few.

Our Mindfulness Hike at Sands Main Street Prairie is the first in a three-part series taking place at different natural areas this fall. This guided 90-minute experience combines hiking, standing stretches and meditation to help quiet your mind, lower stress and recharge in nature. Light refreshments are included.

The hike is appropriate for all fitness levels, but participants should be comfortable walking on uneven, relatively flat terrain. Dress in layers and wear closed-toed shoes or hiking boots.
