Carolina Circus Festival was created with a greater purpose: bringing our community together while raising awareness for mental health & su***de prevention💜

This mission also holds a very special place in our hearts as we honor the Sam Spurlock Memorial Fund, in memory of Sam Spurlock, son of Michelle Spurlock, owner of Upside Aerial Arts & Fitness. Through Carolina Circus Festival, we are honored to help carry Sam’s memory forward while bringing greater awareness and support to su***de prevention and mental health.

During our festival we will have a raffle booth featuring an amazing lineup of items generously donated by local businesses we love. Every raffle ticket purchased helps us raise funds and further this important mission.

This year, raffle proceeds will be donated between two organizations: the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention and the With Hope Foundation. We are honored to support both organizations and the vital work they do to provide mental health education, resources, advocacy, and su***de prevention support in our communities.

We are also excited to welcome the With Hope Foundation as our mental health resource booth this year. They will be providing information, education, resources, and support throughout the festival!

Come experience a full day of circus, support our incredible local community, enter to win amazing raffle items, and most importantly, help us make an impact for a cause that matters deeply to us💜

Thank you to Pura Vida Studio, our gold sponsor💛

Pura Vida Studio is not only a proud Gold Sponsor of Carolina Circus Festival, but also where so much of the heart behind this festival lives.

Pura Vida owner Alicia Calderwood is also the Co-Founder and Artistic Director of Carolina Circus Festival. What began as a love for aerial arts and a desire to build meaningful community has grown into something much bigger: a festival that brings thousands of people together through circus arts while raising awareness for mental health and su***de prevention.

Pura Vida Studio has supported CCF from the very beginning through countless volunteered hours, performers, teachers, resources, planning, creativity, and an incredible community that continues to show up year after year.

For Alicia, these two communities will always be deeply connected. Both were built around the belief that movement, connection, creativity, and community can have a meaningful impact on people’s lives.

Thank you, Pura Vida Studio, for being a 2026 Gold Sponsor and for continuing to help bring the mission of Carolina Circus Festival to life. 💛🎪
