We've received a lot of great feedback, questions, and suggestions from our families over the past year. We appreciate every comment and wanted to address some of the most common topics!
๐๏ธ Craft Thursdays
Craft Thursdays are designed as a parent-and-child activity. We provide the craft supplies and instructions, and parents work alongside their kiddos to complete the project together. If you need help, just ask our front desk attendant and we'll be happy to assist.
๐จโ๐ฉโ๐ง Parent Supervision
Kiddos Play Center is a parent-supervised facility. Parents are responsible for supervising their children and ensuring they follow the posted rules. We have cameras throughout the facility, but if you ever see a child not following the rules and their parent is not addressing the issue, please notify staff immediately and we will handle it.
We can't address issues we don't see, so please let us know if there's a problem.
๐ถ Parents Must Remain On-Site
Kiddos Play Center is not a drop-off facility. A parent or responsible adult must remain on-site while children are playing. This helps ensure children are supervised and allows parents to assist when needed.
๐ Birthday Party Guest Counts
The birthday child now does not count toward the included guest count in our party packages.
Our party packages are designed to help families save money. The package includes 8 children and the party room. Additional children can be added for a reduced rate that includes grip socks. This way, if you expect 12 children but only 9 attend, you only pay for the children who actually show up. You can always add additional children on the day of the party if needed.
Please note that memberships provide unlimited admission during regular public open play hours and include a 10% discount on party bookings. Memberships do not cover party room reservations or party guests.
Also, unlike most centers, we do not charge for adult entry. We include 2 adults per party.
๐ถ Toddler Area
Older siblings may enter the Under 5 area with younger siblings, but rough play is not allowed. If you see unsafe behavior, please let a staff member know and we'll address it right away.
๐ Big Kid Area
Children under 5 may use the larger play area, but it is designed for older children who often play faster and more actively. The Under 5 area contains similar attractions designed specifically for younger children. Parents should use their best judgment and guide younger children to age-appropriate areas when necessary.
๐คธ Trampolines & Foam Pit
The large trampoline and foam pit are intended for bigger kids, while the smaller trampoline area is designed specifically for children under 5. Using the age-appropriate areas helps keep everyone safer and allows children to enjoy the equipment as intended.
๐ Toddler Time
We've had several requests for dedicated toddler time, and we think it's a great idea. Currently, most of our weekday visitors are toddlers and younger children, so weekdays already provide a quieter environment for little ones. If possible, we recommend visiting during the week for the best toddler-friendly experience.
๐งฆ Grip Socks
Grip socks are required for all children using the play equipment. However, you do not have to purchase socks from us. Feel free to bring grip socks from home or from any other play center. We also have grip socks available for purchase if needed.
๐ฅค Outside Food & Drinks
Outside food and drinks are welcome at Kiddos Play Center. We simply ask that all food and beverages remain in the seating areas and not be taken into the play areas. This helps us keep the equipment cleaner and safer for everyone.
๐งผ Cleanliness & Sanitization
Our building was originally built in the 1930s and has the character of an older Main Street building. Before opening Kiddos Play Center, the facility was extensively renovated and cleaned.
We clean and disinfect daily using hospital-grade disinfectants. Play equipment, tables, seating areas, restrooms, and high-touch surfaces are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
Ball pits are checked regularly for foreign objects, disinfected weekly, and receive a deep cleaning monthly. With approximately 22,000 balls in the large ball pit and 6,000 balls in the toddler ball pit, removing and sanitizing every ball daily simply isn't practical, but we do maintain a regular cleaning and inspection schedule.
We are also carpet cleaning the facility on June 1, while closed to the public and have added additional air fresheners throughout the building.
๐ช Tables & Seating
Because we are located in a historic Main Street building, space is limited. We've chosen to dedicate as much space as possible to play equipment and attractions for the kids, which limits the number of tables and chairs we can accommodate. We do provide bench seating throughout the facility and along the play areas for parents.

Why We're Closed on Mondays
Monday is our only day closed to the public. It allows us time for deep cleaning, maintenance, private events, and family time. When we first opened, we were open on Mondays, but customer attendance was consistently too low to justify remaining open that day. Closing on Mondays allows us to better maintain the facility while serving our guests the rest of the week.
๐ช Gates & Barriers
Some guests have suggested adding gates or chains to separate areas of the facility. Unfortunately, due to fire code requirements, ADA accessibility regulations, and the layout of our long Main Street building, those options are not permitted.
๐ Thank You
We truly appreciate all of the feedback we've received. Our goal has always been to provide a clean, safe, affordable, and fun place for families in our community. Thank you for supporting our family-owned business and helping us continue to improve. If you ever have questions or concerns, please stop by the front desk and let us know. We're always happy to help!
