Stone's Throw Dinner Theatre's Board of Directors want to celebrate all our volunteers. Whether you've helped backstage, onstage, in the kitchen, dining room, ushered, built a set or pitched in wherever you were needed- we want to celebrate YOU!
On the menu: brisket, potato salad, baked beans and cobbler.
Then stick around for Music Bingo 🎼, prizes, laughs and a little special entertainment we have planned! 👀✨

The mystery is heating up, and we still need a few more suspects!

​We had a fantastic turnout for night one of auditions for the hilarious comedy Madam’s Been Murdered, Tea Will Be Late, but the cast isn’t complete just yet—perhaps the missing piece of the puzzle is you! Whether you are a seasoned performer or looking to step onto the stage for the first time, we would love to see you.

​When: Tomorrow at 6:30 PM

Meet the cast of “Clue”, written by Sandy Rustin and based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn. This classic whodunit, based on the Hasbro board game of the same name, is scheduled for the Stone’s Throw stage August 14-16 and 20-23. We only have single seats available for this popular production, but you can call 417-358-9665 if you’d like to be added to the waiting list.

Kevin Loar as “Wadsworth” -- Kevin is appearing in just his second show here at Stone’s Throw. He debuted in our 2024 production of “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown” where he played “Schroeder”. A veteran of the stage, he has appeared in over 20 productions at various theatres in the area.

Misty Hammer as “Yvette” -- Misty is delighted to be sharing the stage with this wonderfully talented cast of friends. If you remember her from Sylvia, you will be happy to know she’s still fetching… only this time it’s drinks, secrets and maybe a little trouble. Enjoy the mystery, trust no one and see if you can solve whodunit before the final curtain!

Meet the cast of “Clue”, written by Sandy Rustin and based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn. This classic whodunit, based on the Hasbro board game of the same name, is scheduled for the Stone’s Throw stage August 14-16 and 20-23. Genna Reid as "Mrs. Peacock" -- Genna appears regularly on the Stone’s Throw stage and was most recently seen portraying “Rose Bush” in our January 2026 production of “Leona, Love Thy Neighbor, Too”. When not on stage, Genna enjoys serving in the dining room. She is having a blast playing “Mrs. Peacock” and is very excited to share this show with the audience.

Charlie Rogers as "Colonel Mustard" -- Charlie, a member of our prestigious “Lifetime Membership Club”, has been performing with Stone’s Throw from the beginning. We have lost track of just how many shows he has been in, but he has shared that two of his favorite roles have been playing “Tevye” in “Fiddler On The Roof” and “Atticus Finch” in “To Kill A Mockingbird”.

Meet the cast of “Clue”, written by Sandy Rustin and based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn. Dustin Trenberth as “Mr. Green” -- Dustin has been appearing regularly on the Stone’s Throw stage since debuting as “Dr. Einstein” in our 2023 production of “Arsenic and Old Lace”. He most recently appeared in our June 2026 production of “First Kisses” portraying “John (age 32,42,52)”. Other credits include “Bertie” in “Jeeves at Sea”, and “Gary” in “On The Farce Day of Christmas”. Favorite roles include “Gary” in “On The Farce Day…” and “Bertie” in “Jeeves at Sea”.

Melanie Kloppenborg as “Mrs. White” -- Melanie had been a regular performer at Stones Throw since 2013. She has performed in over 60 theatrical productions including Springfield Little Theater, Mt. Vernon and in her native New Jersey. Some of her favorite roles include Elsa Schraeder in The Sound of Music, Elsbeth in Two Witches No Waiting, and Annabella/Margaret/Pamela in The 39 Steps. She is honored to share the stage with her husband David and so many talented friends.

Susan Hickam as “Miss Scarlett” -- Susan shares, “I am thrilled to be in my fourth production at Stone’s Throw. This is an amazing cast! I am excited that Miss Scarlett’s character is an ode “Maxine”.

Chris Stonecipher as “Professor Plum” -- This Chris’ second appearance on our stage having debuted in last year’s production of “The 39 Steps”. He has been enraptured by the stage for more than 25 years, having begun his theatrical adventures with the Off-Broadway Troupers and the Grove Community Playmakers in his hometown of Grove, OK in the late 90’s.

David Kloppenborg as “Mr. Boddy” -- David has starred in nearly 20 productions at Stone’s Throw having most recently appeared as “Greg” in our October 2025 production of “Sylvia”. A veteran performer who has been in over 40 shows in the area he lists “Mr. Piney” in “A Bad Year for Tomatoes” and “Mitch Mitchell” in “A Streetcar Named Desire” as a couple of his favorite roles.

Betsy Fleischaker as “The Cook” -- Betsy is a Stone’s Throw veteran who has starred in 60+ shows through-out the years. Her most recent appearance was as “Mary (age 72)” in our production of “First Kisses”. She lists her favorite roles as “Marilyn” in “Ripcord” and “Aunt Martha” in “Arsenic & Old Lace”.

Meet the cast of “Clue”, written by Sandy Rustin and based on the screenplay by Jonathan Lynn. This classic whodunit, based on the Hasbro board game of the same name, is scheduled for the Stone’s Throw stage August 14-16 and 20-23. We only have single seats available for this popular production, but you can call 417-358-9665 if you’d like to be added to the waiting list.

Emily is a regular on the Stone’s Throw stage having performed in 6 of our 7 productions in the 2025-26 season. You likely recognize her from one of those previous appearances including “Ghost of a Chance”, “Murder for Dummies”, “Jeeves at Sea”, and “The Kids Left. The Dog Died. Now What?”. She mentioned that playing “Crystal” in “Ghost of a Chance” is one of her favorite roles to-date.

Bailey Danner as “Chief of Police” -- Bailey, a senior at Pitt State University, is making her first appearance on our stage. She has been involved in theatre her entire life and was a drama student of Director Shirley Gollhofer’s while in high school. Her previous roles include “Morticia” in “The Addams Family” and “Little Red Hen” in “The Stinky Cheese”. She is excited to play the “Chief of Police” in this production.
