Carterville Manor — Now that Spooky Season and clean up, all the end-of-year holidays and our son’s wedding this past weekend are behind us, I’d like to officially thank all our visitors that came out to Carterville Manor Spooky Halloween Walk for the 2025 season. I would also like to extend a HUGE heartfelt thank you to my family (Thom, Andy, Eric, Caralyn, Peggy, Kristin, Kayla, Hadley, Sully, and Oscar) for all their year long efforts and last minute rush to help me get everything done, without their efforts and input Carterville Manor would not have become my reality. I would like to thank all the folks who helped source materials and items for my displays, no matter how wacky an item of need sounded, somehow it was sourced. I would like to thank Bailey Sharon (Charactor Actress/Remi & face painter) and Drew Allen (Balloon Twister) for providing their talents as unique opportunities for the children who visited us here on those special event days. I would like to thank Stella Ringblom, Olivia Boyer and Cecilia Catalini with syracuse.com for doing such an outstanding story featuring Carterville Manor as both video and written features for the news. Finally, Cazenovia Equipment/aka SNPartners for helping us out in a pinch with providing their John Deere after our tractor breakdown…. So appreciated!!!
Now it’s time… Carterville Manor 2026 plans are officially under way, lots of fine tuning and plans for more details in our displays on tap. Hoping to try and get more visuals along our wagon ride, benches along the walk for resting “weary bones” and likely a new display or two. Focus will be on property cleanup and repair spring/summer. Also this Spooky Season we’re going to try having a special event/theme nights as part of or throughout each weekend in October. Last year we were met by several challenges going into Spooky Season, but somehow everything came together for October! I think I speak for my family in that we thoroughly enjoy being able to provide a family, friendly fall spooky event for the community to enjoy and we have come to realize by the excitement, positive comments and all the fun/laughter we see during Spooky Season it is worth all our time & efforts. Looking forward to another great season for 2026! 🎃
