Join Mayor Dan Reiman as the Borough of Carteret celebrates Black History Month on Saturday, February 22nd at the Thomas J. Deverin Community Center from 11:00 am - 7:00 pm.

This all-day event will feature special live music and spoken word performances, guest speaker Middlesex County Freeholder Deputy Director Kenneth Armwood, and 2 films celebrating Black history and culture!

We had a very merry time at our Blazing Star Holiday Open House last Friday. Thank you to all who braved the rain to come celebrate! Special thanks to Brian Chen for photographing the event, to Amy Krapf for providing the tree decor, The Blazing Star Teen Advisory Board volunteers, Santa and Mrs. Clause, and The Carteret Historical Committee for putting out a great display, "A Few Of Our Favorite Things"!
