🎭 Applications Now Open for the 3rd Annual Carteret PAC Central Jersey Marquee Awards! 🎭

We’re thrilled to announce that applications are officially open for your school’s musical theatre program to join this extraordinary celebration of high school talent!

The Central Jersey Marquee Awards provide a professional platform to recognize excellence in high school musical theatre across Central New Jersey. From outstanding performances to exceptional direction, choreography, and technical production, this program honors the dedication and creativity of both students and educators.

📅 Key Dates & Details:
➡️Evaluation Period: January–April 2025
Evaluators—comprising theatre professionals, artists, and educators—will attend your school’s musical to recommend nominations in 17 performance and production categories.
➡️Nominations Announced: April 28, 2025
➡️Awards Ceremony: Monday, May 19, 2025
🎤 Hosted at the Carteret Performing Arts and Events Center, nominees will perform, and winners will receive a personally engraved trophy.

💡Exciting Updates:
This year, we’re expanding to include high schools from Mercer County, alongside Middlesex and Somerset Counties. The program remains completely free for all schools!

🏫 Eligibility Requirements:
➡️Your school must stage a musical between January 30 and April 13, 2025.
➡️Schools must be located in Middlesex, Somerset, or Mercer County.

🎶 What’s Next?
Selected schools will participate in a special rehearsal on the day of the awards ceremony. Be sure your group is available for both the rehearsal and the event if you choose to apply.

This is your chance to showcase your students’ hard work, celebrate their accomplishments, and be part of a vibrant community that honors high school musical theatre.

🎭✨ Exciting News for Central Jersey High Schools! ✨🎭

We're thrilled to announce that applications for the third edition of the Carteret PAC Central Jersey Marquee Awards will open on Monday, November 18, 2024! This is your school’s chance to shine in the celebration of high school musical theatre excellence across Central New Jersey.

🌟 Key Details:
- Evaluators will attend your school's musical from January to April 2025, recommending nominations in 17 categories.
- Final nominations will be announced online on April 28, 2025.
- The Awards Ceremony will take place on May 19, 2025, at the Carteret Performing Arts and Events Center, where nominees will perform, and winners will receive engraved trophies.

2024 Marquee Awards Nominations and Honorable Mentions!

Join us for the second annual ceremony on Wednesday, May 15th at 7:30 pm. All participating schools are invited to attend regardless of nomination status. Participating schools will receive an email soon about how to claim their complimentary tickets. Tickets will be made available to the public for purchase soon.
