D4vd is heading toward his murder trial with an entirely NEW legal team. The 21-year-old singer’s private attorneys officially withdrew from his case Monday, and the court appointed attorneys from the Los Angeles County Public Defender’s Office after determining D4vd qualified for appointed counsel.

His former attorneys did not publicly reveal exactly why they withdrew and said they continue to support his defense.

The major shakeup comes after a judge ruled there was sufficient evidence for D4vd to stand trial in connection with the d*ath of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, whose remains were discovered months after her d*ath inside the front trunk of a Tesla registered to the singer.

Prosecutors allege D4vd killed Celeste after she threatened to expose their alleged relationship and jeopardize his music career. D4vd has pleaded NOT GUILTY to the charges and is presumed innocent unless proven guilty.

His private lawyers are officially out. Now his court appointed defense team inherits one of the biggest cases in music.
