For this weeks assignment we are doing a lettering piece on words from a friend that gave us confidence when we were in self doubt. One words of encouragement I have heard is... “You do you”. To me these words meant being oneself not in what society says but in what I see true to myself.. Well in the healthiest way of course. .

For this weeks , we are doing a lettering piece on mantras combined with some sort of rainbow. One mantra that stuck out to me was having “soul over ego”. Sometimes we all try to find ways to impress and please others for our own ego. It might be money, a fancy house, or even how we want to portray ourselves on social media. We sometimes miss on what our soul needs. This mantra humbled me this week. I realized I do put my ego first then satisfying my own soul. It something consistently remind myself. .

For this weeks challenge we are creating a lettering piece on what we want to fill our giant “mugs” with. What do I want to fill my mug with? I’m going to be straightforward here...I want to fill my giant cup up with “quiet”. I want to give myself more quiet times to relax and rejuvenate...Lately I have been letting the chaos of life tire me out and I want to remind myself to at least give myself a few hours of “quiet”. .
