Audiences are raving about WNMTC's Come From Away!

WNMTC's opening weekend drew standing, cheering audiences and rave reviews:

"That performance is the most memorable musical of my life."

"Well done!... I laughed through my tears the whole show. Bravo!"

"Saw it last night and it was a spectacular performance. WNMTC is always great but this ranks at/near the top of their impressive list!"

"Everything is spot on! I’ve never seen (my husband) so emotional in response to a show!"

"What a stunning production from start to finish. The cast was sensational, the orchestra was deeply moving, and the entire production and design team created something truly special. Every element worked together so beautifully to tell this powerful story of humanity, kindness, and connection."

Don't miss the chance to see the show that will completely restore your faith in humanity.

Winner of multiple Tony, Drama Desk, and Olivier Awards, this remarkable production telling of the open hearts and hands in Newfoundland that reached out to stranded travelers when airspace closed on 9/11 has won hearts all over the world, and is destined to win yours as well.

On this 25th anniversary of 9/11, the Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company is honored to tell these stories as they present
the extraordinary, award-winning musical, Come From Away.
Come From Away is generally rated for ages 10+ or 12+, often compared to a PG-13 movie, due to themes of 9/11, some strong language (bleeped), mild language, alcohol use, and emotional weight. Despite the heavy subject, the show is celebrated for its uplifting themes of humanity, teamwork, and compassion, making it a powerful experience.

While multiple third party sellers are advertising tickets to this production, we strongly advise that our audiences buy tickets directly from WNMTC. Buying from a third party often costs triple and, occasionally, these tickets are fraudulent and cannot be honored. Be sure to access WNMTC.com

Come From Away opens next week! Don't miss the chance to see the show that will restore your faith in humanity.
A small town in Newfoundland suddenly found that 7,000 people from all over the world were stranded in their airport, nearly doubling its population, after the tragedy of 9/11.
Their response was swift and fervent. They emptied their shelves and gave all they had to support their visitors through this tragedy.
Thousands of people suddenly found themselves up-close and personal, creating unforgettable moments - unexpected love stories, comic twists, distrust that turned to deep friendship, and, most of all, the kind of humanity that everyone yearns for.
On this 25th anniversary of 9/11, the Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company is honored to tell these stories and more as they present the extraordinary, award-winning musical, Come From Away.
The show will play in 10 performances at the Carson City Community Center, May 8-17.
This poignant, funny, and uplifting story is based on real people and real events in a small town – Gander, Newfoundland – when the world stood still on 9/11. The townspeople, who had been bickering over school bus issues, offer undivided, exhaustive support when 38 flights carrying nearly 7,000 passengers are diverted to their airport as U.S. airspace closes down. Undaunted by logistics and cultural differences, the people of Gander welcome and care for the stranded passengers, forming deep friendships, and helping them through one of the most tragic moments in the history of our country.
In one comical scene, shown here, organizers ask for help cleaning the bathrooms and they get no volunteers. Then seven strapping cardiologists who are deeply committed to hygiene arrive to save the day.
The show runs for one hour and 40 minutes without an intermission, only pausing for applause after two numbers. The otherwise uninterrupted story is told by 13 compelling singer/actors who each play up to five different characters, portraying both the people "from away" and the people of Gander.
Winner of multiple Tony, Drama Desk, and Olivier Awards, this remarkable production has won hearts all over the world, and is destined to win yours as well.

We heard you wondering about Mother's Day
We've got you covered.

Earn your place as your mother's favorite child.
Bring her to the 5 p.m. late matinee of Come From Away on Mother's Day.

After the horrible attacks of 9/11, remarkable goodness surfaced.
Rising out of the worst, we discovered the very best of humanity.
And the creators of Come From Away put that together into an
extraordinary musical that has won hearts all over the world.

Audiences call it "fantastic" and "uplifting."

In one scene, Newfoundlanders try to help the passengers deal with their worry and stress, so they take them to the local hall and make them honorary Newfoundlanders.

On this 25th anniversary of 9/11, the Western Nevada Musical Theatre Company is honored to tell these stories and more as they present the extraordinary, award-winning musical, Come From Away.
