Luck be a lady tonight! 🎲✨
We are so excited to announce that Carson High School’s 2027 spring musical will be… Guys and Dolls!
Hailed as the perfect musical comedy, this larger-than-life Broadway musical features classic songs like, “Luck Be a Lady,” “A Bushel and a Peck,” and “Sit Down, You’re Rockin’ the Boat.”
Set against the fast-moving high lights and low lives of Damon Runyon’s mythical New York City, gangsters, gamblers, and showgirls go for broke in the game of love and marriage.
Guys and Dolls takes us from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana - and even into the sewers of New York City - all in one night, reminding us there is nothing certain about life or love: “You’ve simply gotta gamble.”

TONIGHT (May 5 at 6 p.m.) is the Performing Arts Senior Showcase at Carson High School!

This performance is the final component needed for these students to receive their Fine Arts Diploma Seal, which is a recognition for outstanding dedication and achievement in the Fine Arts during all four years of study at Carson High School. Recipients will wear an honor cord on the day of their graduation to represent this incredible accomplishment.

The 21 outstanding performing arts students performing this evening will be: Jacob Alvarez, Hannah Aragon, Chase Boholst, Chloe Clark, Asher Cranston, Jimena Del Toro, Gianna Espirito, Osiris Estrada, Danny Galve, Madison Hager, Devyn Kellner, Zealand Mitchell, Raymon Owen, Kaitlyn Richardson, Carlos Rodrigues-Joya, Robert Sainz, Jose Salinas, Eleanor Sayyar, Kevin Segura, Nathan Torres, Jaden Wright.

Please join us to celebrate their outstanding achievements in Choir, Theatre Arts, Band, Orchestra, and Musical Theatre.

Congratulations to our very own sophomore Micah Giron for winning Outstanding Lead Actor at the 2026 Nevada High School Musical Awards!
Micah was recognized for his performance as Hades in our Int/Adv Musical Theatre production of Hadestown: Teen Edition 🚂🎶

Our students were so fortunate to work with the AMAZING Spike McGuire, who is the Executive Director of the Brewery Arts Center, an incredible musician, and a tireless advocate for the arts in our community.

Spike appeared in Grease as the cameo role of celebrity singer Johnny Casino, singing the iconic “Born to Hand Jive” number. We are so grateful he took time out of his busy schedule to share his talents with CHS Theatre Arts and inspire and uplift our students.

Thank you, Spike! You are a total rockstar, on and off the stage ❤️🌟🎸

Grab your tickets now to rock ‘n’ roll with Rydell High’s senior class! Grease picks up the story of head “greaser” Danny and girl-next-door Sandy where their summer lovin’ left off: the start of a new school year.
Grease has earned its place among the world’s most popular musicals, and is filled with favorite songs and dance numbers such as “Greased Lightnin’” “We Go Together,” “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” and “You’re the One That I Want.”

Grease is suitable for most theatergoers over the age of 13.
