One canvas. So many personalities. 🎨💛

Every student has their own way of seeing themselves — and I love how every portrait is different!

🎨 National Portfolio Day at SMU Meadows School of the Arts!

Always a great experience bringing our students’ hard work and creativity to National Portfolio Day!

Our students received lots of praise, along with valuable feedback and guidance from college representatives. It’s always inspiring to see their dedication recognized and to learn how they can take their work even further.

Such a great confidence booster and motivation to keep growing as artists! So proud of our students! 👏🎨

Soonpeel’s art flows like the wind—free, moving, and full of quiet energy. His brushstrokes don’t just create movement; they make you feel it.

“What does the wind look like? Perhaps it looks like brushstrokes—felt more deeply than seen.”

Today was the opening of the Drawing a Full Circle exhibition! 🎉
The Visual Art League of Lewisville also held the reception for their exhibition, Play, so a few of us joined in the celebration together.

The exhibition will be on view until 7/12/2026, with our reception happening on 5/30/26. Come celebrate with us and experience the incredible work of our artists.
