Santa decided he needed extra help for some of his gift requests. So, he sent out one of his helpers to use our Makerspace facilities. Can you guess what he's making? And will it be done on time?

Happy Holidays,

This year has been a remarkable one for us, marked by the grand opening of our new home at 400 Roberson St. in Carrboro. Our Makerspaces, equipped with 3D printers, laser cutters, and a diverse array of artistic disciplines from fabric arts to ceramics and digital, have already begun to transform the way our community engages with art.

During our recent Makerspace Open House, we witnessed the joy and wonder in the eyes of attendees, of all ages, as they interacted with these tools, many for the first time. It was a vivid reminder of the power of art to inspire, educate, and bring people together.

However, our mission goes beyond providing access to advanced tools. We believe in the equity of art, ensuring that everyone, irrespective of their background, economic status, race, or religion, has the opportunity to create, learn, and grow through art. To achieve this, we need your help.

Your generous donation to The ArtsCenter will directly support our scholarship programs and the expansion of our programming to underserved communities. These scholarships are vital in breaking down financial barriers, allowing budding artists from diverse backgrounds to access our Makerspaces and explore their creativity.

Imagine a world where every member of our community has the means to express themselves artistically, where creativity knows no bounds, and where art becomes a universal language that unites us all. Your contribution can help make this vision a reality.

Please consider making a donation before the end of the year. Any amount, large or small, makes a significant difference. You can give online or send a check to our address at 400 Roberson St., Carrboro, NC 27510.

Together, we can cultivate a community where art is accessible to all and where every voice has the chance to be heard and celebrated. Let's create a future where art is a shared experience that enriches our lives and our community. https://bit.ly/3Gu6ou5

We've all heard that small businesses are one of the pillars to our local economy.
But did you know, last year The ArtsCenter had a $2.8M economic impact in Orange county equating to 88 full-time jobs created and $137,723 in local government revenue!?
Thank you again for all your love and support, which has helped us give back and truly put into practice our mission of creating arts access for all! We are just one of many small businesses, but just imagine the impact that our local small businesses have collectively across our community!
Please remember to shop local not just today but every day! We hope you'll tag in the comments below some of your other favorite local small businesses here in Orange County so we can really share the love this Small Business Saturday! Your dollars have the power to transform our community!

We are so excited to announce that an anonymous donor has agreed to match Giving Tuesday donations made to The ArtsCenter dollar for dollar up to $5000. These donations will go directly to our capital campaign and support our building project.

On August 26, 2023, The ArtsCenter celebrated the grand opening of our new home at 400 Roberson Street in downtown Carrboro. With 18K sq. ft. of transformable space, the new ArtsCenter offers spaces that are both purpose-built and flexible. This new home includes three distinct makerspaces: A STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) Lab, a Digital Lab and a Fiber Arts Lab as well as a ceramics studio, painting studio, black box theater and writing studio. The ArtsCenter seeks to create makerspaces and classrooms that are relevant, inclusive, and create a sense of belonging to all in our communities.

Through 2024, we will continue to raise funds to reach our capital campaign goal of $5 Million. By achieving this goal, we will be able to put more of our resources toward programming, ensuring everyone in our community has access to these new studios and classrooms regardless of age or socio economic status.

Can you help us reach our Giving Tuesday goal of $10,000? You can find Giving Tuesday Donate here: https://artscenterlive.app.neoncrm.com/np/clients/artscenterlive/donation.jsp?campaign=146&&test=true
