This AND let’s say hi to our founder, owner, & architect, Cari Paulus Filer.

Growing up in rural southern Arkansas, where she
spent her childhood wrestling razorbacks, Cari
developed a deep connection to the land. She
went on to study architecture at the University
of Arkansas at Fayetteville and in Rome, Italy,
graduating cm laude with a Bachelor of
Architecture in 2007. That same year, she moved
to Chapel Hill, where she worked with several
local architecture firms before earning her license
and founding Cari Filer Studio. Now calling North
Carolina home, the region’s rich vernacular and
natural beauty continue to profoundly influence
her work.

These precious kid’s rooms were so fun to transform! These two rooms were originally upper bedrooms in a historic Chapel Hill home, but were upgraded with totally new bathrooms, custom cabinetry, and custom closets for each. Part of a much larger addition and renovation, we think these kid’s rooms are amazing on their own! Grau Building Company & Jenkins Interiors really made this transformation sing.
