THE 2011 SANTA BARBARA CONCOURS WEEKEND

Stratus Motorsports is pleased to announce the Santa Barbara Concours d'Elegance will return to the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club the weekend of October 28-30, 2011. This year is particularly exciting as it will mark the 25th anniversary of the Santa Barbara Concours d'Elegance. Saturday's program will feature the Worldwide Classics Auto Show, complete

with food, beverage, and entertainment. Also featured will be displays of Indy 500 Factory Pace Cars and Mille Miglia North America Tribute Cars

Sunday is reserved for the traditional Concours d’Elegance program. There will be approximately 20 classes of vehicles judged during the event, in addition to the coveted “Best of Show” award. The 2nd Annual Vino d'Elegance Wine Festival will accompany the auto events on both Saturday and Sunday. Local wineries will gather for tasting and celebration at the height of the 2011 harvest season. This event will benefit a local charity of Santa Barbara. This will be an exquisite weekend complete with a lifestyle of luxury and automotive splendor. KIDS GET IN FREE WITH A PAID ADULT TICKET and if in costume can "Trick or Trunk". The 25th Santa Barbara Concours d'Elegance, a luxury automotive car show, will benefit the United Boys and Girls Clubs of Santa Barbara County this year. Following the conclusion of the inaugural Mille Miglia North America Tribute, a three-day 1,000 mile tour through California's Central Coast and northern roadways, the concours will take place Saturday and Oct. 30 at the Santa Barbara Polo & Racquet Club. The Worldwide Classics Automotive Show will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, showcasing rare collector cars such as a 1939 Lakester "Meteor" as well as an Indy 500 Factory Pace Car display to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Indianapolis 500, an event news release said.
