The Cemetery and its residents have begun sliding back into the mists to make way for the North Winds to blow in the residents of Candy Cane Canyon Trail.

Thank you to everyone who came out and visited this year! We are grateful for the amazing support from the community. We are always humbled when we hear that something we do for our own enjoyment has become a tradition for so many families!

For those wondering, we ended up with 2,200 Trick or Treaters. We were on pace for 2,500 - 2,800, however, the rainstorm at 7:00 ended the day for many people.

We've had many people asking if the display will run through the weekend.

Unfortunately, no. Tear down started this morning. We need to get everything down and away so we can clean up the yard and then start setting up our Christmas display.

A supply of 2,345 full size candy bars, cans of Pringles, cans of Play Doh and bubble wands set for Trick or Treaters tomorrow. After that we break into the several bags of fun size candy we have...

Worst case Jewel had potatoes for 49 cents for a 5lb bag last week and we laid in a supply of those...

There will be hot chocolate and treats.

We are located at 371 Canyon Trail in Carol Stream.
Please be careful driving and parking when visiting as there are often many children around. Also, remember there is no parking on our side of the street by Village ordinance.

We put up the display for our own enjoyment and ask for nothing. However, if you do enjoy it, please consider a monetary donation for the Just Giants Rescue.

What's with the Ducks???

If you've stopped this season, you may have seen a straw bale in the Pumpkin section with an ever increasing number of ducks and Halloween related figures and wonder what's up?

We belong to a group of fellow Halloween enthusiasts spread across the greater Chicagoland area called Chicago Haunt Builders. The group members decided to have some fun while visiting each others displays this year and leave a Duck or Halloween figure when we stop by, similar to what is done with Jeep Wranglers or on cruises. They are typically left suriptishously and they aren't found until later.

As we have found ones left at our display we've been putting them all together into a waddle of ducks.

So, if you go visiting Halloween displays this season, consider leaving a duck or Halloween figure for the owner to find!
