If orders are in front of you I will let you know. Most items should be shipped in 1-3 weeks except for blankets they can take 4-8 weeks. I will stay in contact with you throughout the process to let you know where your item is in the crocheting

or knitting process. I will let you know if anything delays the time you were suppose to get your handmade item. A non-refundable down payment is required before I make an item. The fee is usually a third of the cost of making the item. The remainder of payment is due before item ships. SHIPPING ONLY AVAILABLE FOR THE UNITED STATES AT THIS TIME. I am often asked what would you charge to make this item or that, and I am always stuck at what to charge. I am using this throw as an example, and explain what you see that went into making it and what you don't see.

It took 6 skeins of yarn (cost of $50), a pattern (free download, thanks to Yarnspirations), a crochet hook, a darning needle, and then a lot of knowledge and time. This is what I call, what you see.

It took 1 to 2 hours to crochet each square, 30 in total. Once they were done I had to block them (make them all the same size using a blocking board and steamer). I then had to join each square. The join for this pattern was a new one for me, so I had to watch a tutorial (Thanks to Mikey at The Crochet Crowd) about 4 to 5 times to get the join down. Once it was all together, I had to hide all the loose ends and crochet a border. The whole process took approximately 60 hours to do.

Now if I were earning minimum wage for my time spent making this, I would be making about $600, but I don't know anyone that would pay that price for throw that measures 55" x 65". Now different crafters will charge a different price depending but none of them are the true worth of an item. Many don't create items to get rich, many just create because of the love for the craft. So I ask, when you see a handmade craft item, whether it is crocheted, knitted, hand carved, painted, sewn, or glued, see it for what it is...an expression of love.
