Thank you Caro Rotary! We appreciate the opportunity to share our love for THE Tuscola County Fair!
Our speaker this week was Neil Jackson, President of the Tuscola County Fair. Neal has been president of the fair board for 12 years and has served on the board for 36 years. His father was president for 25 years. Neil hasn't missed a TCF in his life..born in 1957. He shared that their success has come from keeping the fair reasonable, and by having shelf ready improvement plans when grants become available. Over $1 million dollars have been invested in the grounds over the last 7 years. Both Neil and Mayor Snider spoke on the value of the partnership between the City of Caro and the Fair board, as the city leases the property to the TCF.
