Last night, the Summer Ensemble of the Putnam Chorale performed a short opening set at Heritage Financial Stadium for Fishkill’s celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the American Revolution. Despite the heat and the sun, we performed well and gave the event a rousing start. Come see us perform our complete American Tapestry program on Sunday, June 14th at 2pm at the Mahopac Library. Admission is free.

The Summer Ensemble performed its “An American Tapestry” concert yesterday at the First Reformed Church in Fishkill. This historic church played a role on the American Revolution, as a prison for captured Tory soldiers and spies, a meeting place for the writing of the NY State Constitution and as the first church established in Dutchess county. We had a wonderful turnout and an enthusiastic audience. Come hear our next performances of this all-American program at our remaining four concerts across Putnam and Dutchess counties. Learn more at https://www.putnamchorale.org/next-event/ Thank you to the Fishkill Historical Society for making this concert possible and for their gracious hospitality.
