We’re so excited for the next exhibition! We’ll be installing all week, so stop by for the opening reception of Changing the Narrative: the First Five Years of Paula Riff Award Winners on Saturday, June 20th, 4-6pm. Featuring work by Aimee Beaubien, Katie Shapiro, Minwoo Lee, Paula McCartney, and Marni Myers. We’ll be announcing who the next Paula Riff Award winner is next month, so stay tuned and see you this weekend! It’s a beautiful day in Carmel! Come see A Light Exists in Spring ( got to see her image in the gallery at last). All the works by our fantastic volunteers and trustees are for sale, so what better way to celebrate the end of the season than to bring one home! We are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2026 CPA Artist Grants!

This year’s selection committee looked at hundreds of compelling applications for the 2026 CPA Artist Grants. After much consideration, the committee decided to give grants and awards to 8 artists, including a new grant just for Monterey County Residents. We are honored and excited to be able to support multiple artists again this year. Link in bio.

Well, we had A LOT of votes for the People’s Choice Award in the Members’ Juried Exhibition, but the image with the most votes was Ann Mitchell’s gorgeous platinum print, “The Path.” It also went to a new home! Lucky buyer! Congratulations, Ann!
