How is it already the last day of the Festival??We’re still wondering where the time went. To everyone who joined us for a concert, supported our musicians, volunteered, worked behind the scenes, or simply shared in the music—thank you.

For nearly 90 years, this Festival has been more than a series of performances. It’s been a community that comes together each summer to celebrate music, connection, and tradition. That is something we never take for granted.

It’s impossible to put into words what your patronage, talent, and friendship mean to us. So we’ll simply say: thank you for an incredible season.

What an honor it has been to welcome Angélica Negrón to Carmel this summer!

We’ve been blown away by the program she curated, Field of Sound, and it has been such a joy to watch our musicians move seamlessly from performing Baroque works in the morning to exploring her contemporary programming in the afternoon. It’s a beautiful reminder of the extraordinary artistry that comes together during these two short weeks of the Festival.

Tonight’s program, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6 and Appalachian Spring, features Negrón’s Marejada. If you haven’t had the chance to experience her music live, tonight is your final opportunity—and it’s one you won’t want to miss.

Meet our baritone soloist, Paul Max Tipton!

Paul first came to the Carmel Bach Festival in 2012 as a Virginia Best Adams Fellow. More than a decade later, he’s back on our stage as a featured soloist!

Since his Fellowship, Paul has built an international career, performing throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. His recent appearances include performances with Bach Collegium Japan, Pacific Symphony, Handel & Haydn Society, Spoleto Festival USA, and Göteborg Baroque, along with numerous acclaimed recordings.

Some of the creative minds behind our Saturday night performance of Haydn: The Seasons.

Artistic Director Grete Pedersen celebrates with dancers Natalie Leibert and Babatunji Johnson following the world premiere of Two Moons—a newly choreographed work paired with Nils Henrik Asheim’s *Muohta – Language of Snow*.
