Part3: Opening Night of Mr. Confidential! It was an absolutely magical night as we opened this new original musical based on the amazing true story written by my friend, Samuel Garza Bernstein, with music by David Snyder! It was so wonderful seeing my dear friend, Don Farrell, embody the role of Bob Harrison aka Mr. Confidential! Don’s incredibly talented and he’s truly a gifted singer, his performance is not to be missed! Cynthia Collins, is wonderful playing his endearing sister, Edith Tobias. Judy Fitzgerald gave a brilliant performance as Frances Rushmore, the wife of Howard Rushmore! I absolutely loved Shelbi Berry Kamohara as Majorie Meade, what a fantastic voice and she gave an incredible performance! I can see her being on Broadway in the very near future! Emily Catherine Bohannon also gave a fantastic performance as Gail Foster, Mr. Confidential/ Bob Harrison’s love interest and the inspiration for the magazine! Tim Fullerton was fantastic in the role of Howard Rushmore and John Vessels was brilliant as Walter Winchell!
The whole cast is wonderful! This show is not to be missed!! This is an original musical hopefully making it’s journey to Broadway in the future! In our community, we have the opportunity to see it first and support live theatre! Take it from me, Broadway Sam come see Mr. Confidential playing at the Studio Theater in Carmel until 5/14/23. This is Broadway in our Backyards!

Last nights pre-show dinner with my business partners Scott Abrams, Mary Maggio and my SuperYou Producer/Partner Melissa Jones La Masseria NYC! Omg! The food was absolutely amazing! We had such a wonderful dining experience as we caught up on Broadway business! It was so great to spend time together!

Yesterday’s Afternoon Reading: Mythic An Immortal New Musical! I had a wonderful experience with my partners Mary Maggio and Scott Abrams at the presentation of this new musical! I was quite impressed with this musical!! Great songs and story lines and terrific performances by amazing actors!! It was so wonderful seeing so many old fiends, other Co-Producer’s/investors, Acotor friends! Theatre is such a small world!

After we saw &Juliet, I met up with my friend and almost nephew, Joomin Hwang. I met Joomin back when he was in the cast of The Prom. Some backstory, Joomin is originally from Korea, was the first Korean born national to perform on the Tony’s! Anyway, as our friendship began, I felt an instant kinship with him since I’m married to Miya who’s Korean and having a Korean family. He even calls me Uncle Sam. He’s so amazingly talented! He’s an incredible dancer, has a beautiful singing voice, a terrific actor and is genuinely one of the nicest men I have ever had the privilege of knowing! He’s so dedicated to his profession and I’m inspired by his continued passion!! He is a wonderful example to foreign born creative artists who have aspirations of one day living their Broadway Dream! I’m honored and proud to have him as my friend and adopted extended Family! Keep reaching for dreams!

Yesterday afternoon in between my dinner meeting with my friend/Producer Marc Levine. We had a meet up with my SuperYou partner/Producer Melissa Jones and Perri Gillon. It’s amazing how much you can get accomplished in a day. Marc and I also had a scrumptious Italian meal at Sicily Osteria before I met Melissa and some friends for Bad Cinderella!

This past Thursday I was up in northern Indiana on location making a movie! I’m partnering with Pigasus Pictures as a Co-Producer and even had a chance to be in a scene! I had an amazing experience! I can’t wait until we can share this incredible film which which was made right here in Indiana! For right now, I can say much, but what I can say is it’s a heartwarming story by an amazing and talented creative Director/Writer! The whole Team is fantastic! My new Tonal just arrived and was installed this afternoon so I took it for a test drive! I did my first workout on it! Wow was I impressed! This is just the start. I have been on my Peloton for over 347 days straight without missing a day. I needed to add weight training and felt this would work best for me. So the journey continues! I love working out in my home gym for the convenience and I’m able to stay committed! As I we approach the New Year, I have new goals and aspirations and it was my friend, who inspired me along with my wife, awhile back to stick to a plan. So whatever your plan is, don’t give up, don’t quit! My dear friend motivates and coaches people with their fitness to be the best they can be! I watch her post’s every day and I’m inspired! Be inspired! Life is a wonderful journey!
