Today, Carmel Clay Parks & Recreation proudly dedicated Susannah H. Dillon Woods in honor of Sue Dillon, one of our beloved “Park Mothers.”

For more than 40 years, Sue’s leadership, vision, and generosity have helped shape the preservation, planning, and growth of parks throughout Carmel and Clay Township. Her unwavering commitment transformed community ideas into the vibrant public spaces that residents and visitors enjoy every day.

We are honored to celebrate Sue’s remarkable contributions and recognize a legacy that will continue to inspire and enrich our community for generations to come.

Congratulations to our Week 1 Summer Fun Run Photo Winner! This week’s top photo goes to Monty, a four-legged trail buddy who was clearly having a paws-itively great time on the course 🐶🏃‍♀️ This happy pup hit the trail and captured the perfect summer smile!

This great photo wins Sue 2 passes to the Monon Community Center! Thank you to everyone who shared photos this last week! We love seeing our community enjoying the parks and trails and getting outside!
