🎉 FACULTY FRIDAY | KYLIE WILLIAMS 🎉

Every great dancer has a first teacher. And that teacher matters more than you might think! ❤️

This week, we're delighted to introduce Kylie Williams, Preparatory Division & Adult Ballet Instructor at Indiana Ballet Conservatory!

A native of the Indianapolis area, Miss Kylie's love of dance took her to Pittsburgh, where she earned her degree in Dance with a concentration in Modern Dance from Point Park University. Along the way, she discovered another passion — yoga — which has become an important part of her life and approach to movement and teaching.

With a background that spans dance, yoga, and fitness, Kylie brings a wonderful understanding of how the body moves, along with a genuine enthusiasm for sharing the performing arts with others.

Whether she is guiding our youngest dancers to begin developing coordination, musicality, balance, body awareness, and confidence OR welcoming adult students into our studios to explore the many ways ballet training can enhance our lives at any age, Kylie is INVESTED in each dancer. Just as she has a lifelong passion for the art form, she is excited about sharing this passion and ensuring the foundation she instills is of the highest quality.

At Indiana Ballet Conservatory, we believe students of ALL ages deserve the same thoughtful attention to their education as our most advanced dancers. Our Preparatory Division introduces children to ballet through an age-appropriate curriculum designed to establish strong foundations while nurturing creativity and a love for the art form. Our Adult Program meets our adult students where they are to ensure they are given the highest quality training and an encouraging and supportive environment.

After all, today's little dancer taking their first plié and tomorrow's adult dancer who is discovering it for the first time or revisiting an old love both carry the joy and confidence of dancing throughout their lives. BOTH are worth celebrating!

We are taking it BAAAACK today to nearly 14 years ago during the Annual IBC Halloween Choreography Competition & Costume Party! These crazy kids were parents who decided to surprise the students with their own entry to the event, dancing to PSY's "Gangnam Style".

This October, we will all gather together again for another fabulous party and can't wait to share it with our families! This is a spectacular way to encourage our students to push their creative and technical boundaries while having SO MUCH FUN! But, parents - what about you? You don't have to watch on the sideline. Maybe it's time to shake things up in the studio?!
