First Fridays Carbondale Come Celebrate First Friday in Carbondale! Community organizations and non-profits are welcome to participate at First Friday with a booth.

A monthly family-friendly community celebration with a wide range of local arts, galleries, shopping, award-winning restaurants and spirits, live music and entertainment takes place in the heart of the Carbondale Creative District. Join us every month in the heart of Carbondale’s Creative District to enjoy a wide range of local arts, galleries, shopping, award-winning restaurants and spirits, and

live music and entertainment. First Friday is a family-friendly community celebration that takes place monthly in the heart of Carbondale’s Creative District. Due to logistics and space limitations, we cap participation at six booths max. At this time participation is limited to community organizations and non-profits. Join Voices' ARTery Tiny Stage at 5:30pm at Main & Weant for VOICES at Play, a joyful performance of true stories exploring the moments that reconnect us with our sense of wonder. Four local storytellers–TEAJ (Eric Tinajero), Lety Gomez, Edie O'Bryne, and Dr. Leticia Guzman Ingram–will share heartfelt, humorous, and inspiring stories celebrating childlike joy and magic found in everyday life.

August First Friday is themed Recess (think a reset after all the community's hard and meaningful work poured into Mountain Fair) featuring extended hours and special events at local shops, galleries, and restaurants, plus street activities, yard games, live music, community booths and food trucks.

Don't miss Bridger Langfur's street set this week during First Friday! He'll be busking from 5 to 7pm at the Promenade on Main Street (just across from Peppinos). Born in Bonedale - Bridger brings his poetic background to songwriting. Specializing in indie folk and country Bridger enjoys harnessing the darker side of life in his tone. He draws inspiration from the classics- Johnny Cash and Bob Dylan - with an infusion of contemporaries such as Colter Wall, Bella White, or Sierra Ferrell. Come on by First Friday for a serenade that opens hearts and celebrates soul.
