Come see! Two nights only at the Orbit ArtSpace in Fruita, March 20-21, 7 p.m. Only 40 seats each night. Performances are free, but reservations are suggested because...intimate space. We want you to be the first to see our new production! To reserve seats, text or leave a message at 707-235-1055! Wheeee! (This is a show for "adults"!)

The Deepest Yes: Stieglitz & O’Keeffe, a new theatrical work by Kim and Valerie Nuzzo, will be presented March 20 and 21, 2026, at the Orbit ArtSpace in Fruita, with a 7 p.m. curtain each evening. The performances are hosted by Garrett Day, owner of the gallery, located at 138 South Park Square in Fruita. Performed in an intimate, 40-seat venue, the production offers audiences a rare, up-close encounter with a powerful and immersive piece of theater. Admission is free, but seating is extremely limited and reservations are required.

Performed by the playwrights themselves, The Deepest Yes weaves history, myth and live performance to explore the charged creative and emotional relationship between photographer Alfred Stieglitz and painter Georgia O’Keeffe. The Nuzzos portray multiple roles throughout the piece, shifting between artists, archetypes and witnesses to the relationship’s intensity and unraveling. Live music is provided by company member Finn Benham, underscoring the production’s immediacy and emotional depth. With audiences seated just feet from the performers, The Deepest Yes is designed as a singular, immersive experience that can only be fully felt in the room.

Get in The Car - We're going on a Dramatic Journey Through Art, Identity and Transcendence!

Join Zephyr Stage for a special first reading of "The Deepest Yes: Stieglitz & O’Keeffe," a new play by Valerie and Kim Nuzzo. Inspired by the lives and letters of artist Georgia O’Keeffe and her husband - the father of modern American photography, Alfred Stieglitz, this hour-long chemical reaction blends a tempestuous love story with echoes of Faust and the spirit of modernist rebellion.
Alfred told Georgia that if she wanted to understand him, she'd need to read Faust. He meant it - navigating choices that blur fame and shame, love and legacy. Expect poetry, haunting imagery, addiction, suggested nudity and a furious unraveling — artistic, spiritual and personal. This is a free event.

“What is Fringe?” I asked Kim Nuzzo, actor, artist and therapist, as we sat on the porch outside Dos Gringos on a breezy and pleasantly rainy afternoon.
